On the nose, we straight away smell the strength of the wine, almost a certain rusticity that is accompanied by tangy black and red fruits, enhanced by small touch of wood.
The palate, rather dense and tight at first, is very perfumed. It reveals an aromatic structure at present, a juicy middle palate, carried by ripe tannins ready to soften, as well as beautiful notes of tart red fruits, which makes the wine very gourmand and digestible.
We are almost at the notion of the wine expressing a kind of elegant rusticity. To drink "on the fruit" or leave to age and grow for between five to ten years.
