Located to the north of the Rully appellation, just few meters away from the vineyard named "Les Rabourcés" and subject to the identical weather, "Raclot" is however different.
The youth of the vine (around 25 years old), its south, south-east exposure, its marl and limestone soils, slightly clay-limestone at the bottom of the plot, facilitates the production of a wine of a great quality in 2020. The nose is very fresh, expressing notes of peach, apricot and cherry stones on the finish. The latter is very pleasing, and the presence of marl softens this wine with a very aromatic and saline profile making it very drinkable yet gourmand.
To drink on the fruit or wait two to five years, to give the wine time to "digest" the bitter notes from the skins.
